Living Space Housing is pleased to announce the promotion of Steve Woodbine to the position of Site Manager, reflecting his outstanding contribution and continued professional development within the company.
Steve joined Living Space in July 2020 as an Assistant Site Manager and has since supported the delivery of several key developments. He also played an integral role in the Pride in the Job Award-winning team at Perryfields, Bromsgrove. During his time with Living Space, Steve has successfully completed his NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (Residential Development), further enhancing his expertise and leadership capabilities.
In his new capacity, Steve will lead the company’s newly approved £10 million residential development in Shrewsbury, situated off Cedars Drive in northern Shrewsbury. The scheme will deliver 38 high-quality affordable and social homes, helping to address the national shortage of housing. Developed in partnership with Housing Plus Group, the scheme will provide a diverse tenure mix of shared ownership, affordable rent and social rent.
The development will be constructed in a blend of terraced and semi-detached designs and will incorporate a range of sustainability measures, including air source heat pumps, solar panels and EV charging points.
Commenting on the promotion, Paul Breen, Managing Director, said: “Steve’s promotion to Site Manager is thoroughly well deserved. He has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and commitment throughout his time at Living Space, and his contribution to our award-winning projects has been invaluable. We are confident he will continue to excel in leading the delivery of our Shrewsbury development, which will make a meaningful impact on the local community.”
Steve Woodbine, newly appointed Site Manager at Living Space Housing, added: “I am delighted to be taking on the role of Site Manager at Living Space. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of working on a number of fantastic projects and alongside a talented team. I am excited to lead the delivery of the Shrewsbury development and to contribute to creating high-quality, sustainable homes that will benefit local families for years to come.”
